My name is Jane Taggart.

I’ve spent the last 30+ years working in HR, business operations, and customer support.

I was fortunate to discover early on in my working life that what gets me out of bed every morning, excited to face the day, is working with people - problem solving, coaching, teaching, supporting, and leading.

During my time as a senior HR professional, I recognized many organizations have an acute, urgent need for a basic management training program for their new managers. We tend to reward our top performers by promoting them into management positions without a manager onboarding plan that includes consistent training and development to help them transition from an individual contributor to a supervisor of individual contributors.

In 2023, I had an epiphany about my future. I was ready to step outside my comfort zone and focus my passion for people by helping them develop into the best leaders they can be.

So I left my corporate job as a senior HR professional to start Richardson Sims LLC, on organization dedicated to the training and development of new frontline managers and individuals who are ready to step into leadership roles.

I believe kindness is key to unlocking potential and what drives collaboration, trust, candor, and confidence.

I believe embracing personal responsibility rather than accountability is crucial to success.

I believe everyone is worthy of being seen, heard, and valued for their unique perspectives and contributions. 

I believe we are all worthy of respect.

I believe everyone deserves opportunities to learn and grow and that employers have a responsibility to invest in their employees' career progression.
